There are versions of this valve for filtration and softener applications. All valves are supplied with the SXT Electronic Clock.
Filter valves have the option with or without bypass piston. The NBP (No By pass piston) stops water flow during the back wash cycle so no untreated water is supplied into the system.
There is also the choice of a 1600 or 1700 model for the softener heads - if you are not sure which model you require measure the outside diameter of the brine uptake pipe (the pipe from your brine tank to valve head) - if it is 3/8" it is a 1600 head or if it is 1/2" it is a 1700 head.
